Weekly Grad Chats
When: Every Monday from noon to 1 p.m.
What: Graduate students are invited to a free lunch. We will discuss a topic of interest and have time to connect with other PhD and Masters students across various areas of study.

Dinner &
When: Every Tuesday at 6 p.m.
What: Students are invited to a free home-cooked dinner followed by worship, a service project, a fun program, or a forum by a UVA professor or community member!

Coffee Meet-Up
When: Every Wednesday
What: Join Campus Minister, Devon, for a free drink of your choice and the chance to chat.
Where: Starbucks in Newcomb
Small Groups
When: Every Monday at 6 p.m. (First Year Small Group) and Every Wednesday at 7 p.m. (General Small Group)
What: Connect with other students and do a study together (no prep needed).

Upcoming Events
Dinner & MYO Ice Cream Sundae
When: August 26th at 6 p.m. What: Enjoy free Chinese food from Red Lantern, and a make-your-own ice cream bar with lots of toppings during our first “Dinner &” of the semester. Relax after the first day of classes and connect with new and old friends!
Where: In our dining room at Wesley at UVA
Lawn Games and MYO Snack Mix
When: September 1st from 5-7 p.m. What: We will have a bunch of salty and sweet snacks. Choose which ones you would like to mix together to make your own snack mix to take back to your dorm or apartment! Hang out on O-Hill and play Corn Hole, Spikeball, and Kan Jam!

Popsicles at the Amphitheater
When: September 5th from noon-2 p.m. What: Celebrate wrapping up the 2nd week of class with a free popsicle at the Amphitheater.
Where: The UVA Ampitheater by the food trucks
Convocation Cookout
When: August 24th at 7:30 p.m. What: Celebrate the end of move-in weekend and enjoy free hot dogs, veggie burgers, sides, and a s’mores bar! All years welcome!
Where: Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church’s parking lot (1901 Thomson Road)
Worship & a Picnic
When: August 31st at 11 a.m. What: Wesley at UVA worships at local United Methodist churches on Sunday mornings. This week we are worshipping together at Wesley Memorial, right next to the Contemplative Commons. We will save a seat for you in the back of the church and would like you to stay after for a free picnic lunch!

Dinner & Speed Friending
When: September 2nd at 6 p.m. What: Enjoy a home-cooked meal and meet a new friend! This was a favorite event last fall!
